Following the successful Water Research Conference in 2010, the 2^nd Water Research Conference will address two major topics:

Urban water management to increase sustainability of cities（城市水管理增强城市可持续性）
Microbial ecology of water and wastewater treatment（水/废水处理中的微生物生态学）

Presentations will consist of the latest research achievements as well as more general conceptual papers.

Water Research, a journal of the International Water Association (IWA), is devoted to interdisciplinary research related to water. To further provide a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and development Water Research conferences are organised.

Attend the 2^nd Water Research Conference to:

Present your latest research as Oral or Poster presentation
Learn from internationally renowned researchers in a programme covering two major topics in water research
Partake in discussion which will be instrumental in shaping the scientific and technological advances in water management and treatment
Network with international colleagues including engineers, water technologists, microbiologists, industry representatives, urban planners and policy makers

Call for Abstracts

Oral and poster abstracts are invited on the topics below and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system by 24 August 2012.
